Akut inme semptomları ile başvuran hastalarda nörogörüntüleme yapılması yaşamsal öneme sahiptir. Akut inme tanısında ilk başvuru değerlendirmesinde kullanılan standart inceleme yöntemi kontrastsız bilgisayarlı tomografidir (BT). Konvansiyonel BT incelemenin beyin kanamalarının tanısındaki hassasiyeti oldukça fazladır. Son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalarda gradient recalled echo (GRE) MRG’nin, subaraknoid kanama tanısında kullanılabileceği gösterilmiştir. Bu sekans deoksi-hemoglobinin paramagnetik özelliğine dayanır. Akut inme semptomları ile gelen hastalarda beyin kanaması tanısnda MRG inceleme, BT inceleme kadar güvenle kullanılabilir. Bu yazıda, akut inme vakalarına ait MRG incelemelerde, subaraknoid kanama bulguları sunulmuştur.

Noncontrast computed tomography (CT) is the standart brain imaging study for the initial evaluation of the patients with acute stroke symptoms. Conventional CT has excellent capacity to delineate the presence of brain hemorrhage. Recent study
showed that subarachnoidal hemorrhage can be diagnosed on gradient recalled echo (GRE) MRI. This sequence detects the paramagnetic effects of deoxyhemoglobin. MRI may be as accurate as CT fort he detection of acute hemorrhage in patients presenting with acute stroke symptoms. In this report, the findings of subarachnoid hemorrhage on MRI are presented in cases of acute stroke.
